Hello child or young person! The Children’s Rights for Children website is made especially for you if you want to learn what children’s rights mean in your everyday life. Here you will find information about your rights explained clearly and in a way that is suitable for your age.

Explore different topics through information and quizzes. If something is still on your mind, you can send a question to the Questions and answers section – children’s rights experts aim to answer all submitted questions and help you better understand children’s rights.
Children participated in designing the website
The website has been developed together with children and young people, listening to their wishes. In 2024, we held two workshops, one in Jyväskylä and one in Helsinki. In these workshops, children and young people of different ages took part in designing pages for their own age groups together with the experts responsible for developing the website.
In the workshops, we discussed, for example:
- what kinds of content most interests children and young people,
- how information should be presented so that it is easy to find and understand,
- which children’s rights needed the most clarification
